Hermes had a successful 2015 and won the GPHG for Slim d’Hermès QP. This week Hermes showcased the men’s Slim d’Hermès watches. The watches come in two modern colors of slate grey dial with matching elephant grey alligator strap, and midnight blue with a matt indigo strap.
Slim d’Hermès watches are fitted with the H1950 ultra-thin automatic movement manufactured by Vaucher. The functions include hours, minutes and small seconds at 6 o’clock. The 2.6 mm calibre has a 42-hour power reserve with a micro-rotor. The finishes, including hand-chamfered bridges with a decoration of “H” motif.
Hermès has made a larger a case for the men’s (and few of women’s) watches this year. The case is now 39.5mm with anti-glare sapphire crystal and case-back. It has rhodium-plated sandblasted baton hands. The silvered transferred minutes track and Arabic numerals designed by Philippe Apeloig in a geometrical shaped font.
