The Héritage line by Breguet is curved along two axes in a “tonneau” or barrel shape ensuring a perfect fit on the wrist.
This year, Breguet broadens the range of complications with the Héritage Grande Date 5410 model. This new model rounds out the collection comprising both men’s and ladies’ watches. The large date joins existing complications such as a chronograph, a tourbillon and a retrograde moon phase.
The date indication at 12 o’clock adds life to the finely crafted silvered gold face reflecting the double curvature of the case, in 18-carat rose or white gold, and measuring 45 x 32 mm.
Delicate engine-turned motifs create the structural and depth effects of the timepiece. The chapter ring, bearing large transferred Roman numerals coated with a luminescent substance, surrounds the minute scale on which run luminescent Breguet open-tipped hands in blued steel. These indications are complemented by a small seconds sub-dial at 6 o’clock.
The new Héritage Grande Date 5410 model is powered by Caliber 5166, a self-winding movement benefitting from the technological innovations in the field of materials achieved by Breguet over the past years. A silicon balance-spring notably enhances the model’s performance, endowing it with exceptional precision and reliability.
