Hanhart PRIMUS Black Ops Pilot Now Available

Hanhart

Founded in 1882, Gütenbach-based Hanhart has been producing reliable watches geared towards the principles of maximum precision and reliability, perfect readability, simple and secure operation, and the greatest possible robustness.

Hanhart’s first chronograph in a long line of many was the “Calibre 40” which began production in 1938 and became the company’s staple product and its re-issue is now a great collectors piece. Since the Calibre 40, Hanhart has been producing chronographs made reliably well for military officers and pilots.

Hanhart’s newest chronograph is the PRIMUS Black Ops Pilot. Introduced at Baselworld 2017, the watch is limited to just 82 pieces. Why 82? It refers of course to Hanhart’s foundation year of 1882. The watch is a typically robust and masculine Hanhart timepiece in the colors of the night and that of the Black Forest, the Gütenbach home of Hanhart.

The tradition of more than 130 years in combination with progressive design and technology are merged with sportiness and maximum comfort to create an ideal watch for outdoor activities by day or by nightfall.

This new automatic watch is designed for outdoor enthusiasts; the dark good looks are derived from a black DLC (diamond-like carbon) coated stainless steel case, the bronze green dial with luminous numerals and index markers as well as the dark green textile strap were all chosen to complement a rugged outdoor lifestyle, even if you get no closer to it than gazing into the horizon from your office window.

All Hanhart signature details are also much in evidence; the distinctive fluted bezel with the eye-catching red markings, the bi-compax sub dial display, and not least the famous Hanhart anodized aluminum red button. Comfort is assured with flexible lugs and the durable fabric strap. The watch, which retails at $2,790 USD can be ordered here.
