I am back from Baselworld with some interesting news from Laco. Met up with Andreas Günther an his team yesterday and they were proud to announce three new models which are not to be found on the Laco online shop yet.
Now ready for pre-order for April, Christopher Ward adds the new C7 Rapide Chronometer Limited Edition to its already impressive motoring collection. The new model is powered by the thermo-compensated ETA 251.264 quartz movement, complete with COSC certification, which sets a new benchmark of precision for recognized chronometer standards in the C7 Rapide family.
Just announced, (or at least within the last week), the new Portugieser Yacht Club Worldtimer from IWC. It’s available in 18-carat red gold (Ref. IW326605) and stainless steel (Ref. IW326602). The 18k red-gold model features a silver-plated dial, while the stainless-steel model has a slate-colored dial.
Astron GPS Solar was launched with caliber 7X in 2012. In 2014, the collection was expanded with a second-generation caliber, 8X, featuring a chronograph. In 2015, the Astron revolution continues apace with the addition of a third caliber, designed specifically for the global traveler.
Inspired by a mainly medical timepiece from the early 1920s, the Longines Pulsometer Chronograph measures the number of heartbeats, in addition to the time. The original model of this reissue was used as an instrument by the medical profession to calculate a patient's heart rate reliably and quickly. The white lacquered dial is adorned with painted black Arabic numerals which subtly enhance "Breguet"-type blued steel hands, while the red of the pulsometric scale stands out in perfect refinement.

To celebrate the opening of its new Ateliers in Geneva, ‘nouvelle horology’ brand Ateliers deMonaco (dMc) has created The PdG, a collection of watches that have been granted the prestigious “Poinçon de Genève”.
Eberhard & Co. celebrated the Nuvolari name by presenting a new limited edition of 336 timepieces in honour of a crazy record set by the famous Italian race driver in 1935; 336 km/h with a beautiful twin engine Alfa Romeo!!! This incredible car was lent by the museum of the brand and could sit on the stand of Eberhard & Co at this edition of Baselworld 2015.
This year Tag Heuer presented few new watches in collaboration with celebrities like David Guetta, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Cara DeLevingne. These are all quartz watches aimed towards the Millennials.
