It’s been a while since we matched a watch or two with some envy inducing shoes, so with Baselworld 2015 just around the corner, we have matched a selection of brand new Pre-Baselworld watches with some of the most refined shoes money can buy. No question, any of these combinations will be a Basel head turner.
As Apple Pay and Android Pay (coming on stream in May 2015) continue to increase in popularity, San Francisco based WaterField Designs has decided that the typical wallet should be replaced with a more streamlined and downsized model. Enter the Spike Wallet, a minimalist, all-leather case designed to carry loyalty cards, receipts, transit cards and a few bills.
Right from its inception in 2006, Zeitwinkel has been positioned as an independent high-end Swiss watch manufacturer. The central core of every Zeitwinkel watch is the in-house manufacture movement which was developed over a period of four years.
Raidillon is a racing inspired brand from Belgium. Raidillon refers to a dangerous bend on a mythical racing circuit, Spa-Francorchamps. Next to the Raidillon logo is the number 55, which represents the maximum number of vehicles permitted to take part in certain races in the past.
Last year at Baselworld, Speake Marin presented a steel version of the Velsheda. This year the brand presents a gleaming new model in a red gold case, retaining its blued hand to indicate time and with its superimposed ‘topping tool’ motifs in the centre of the dial.
This year, well known golfing watch brand Jaermann & Stübi will be appearing at Hall 1 at Baselworld. The brand has always striven to develop products in support of worthy causes, so in 2015, the brand has decided to continue in this vein, taking an active role in the fight against cancer. In parallel to this, Jaermann & Stübi is developing its flagship collection, the 'Stroke Play Collection'.

The only way to capture the essence of the Skull is to look it straight in the eye. This is the first time that, when you look at the time, time stares right back. Because Skull's eyes are alive. The right eye becomes gradually darker as the 65 hours of power reserve go by. The left eye conceals a continually rotating seconds dial. An "out of the box" watch if ever there was, Skull dispenses with minutes to fully focus on the liquid hours, the signature of an HYT watch.
For Baselworld 2015 two new versions of the PanoReserve and PanoMaticLunar make their debut at the same time. The two timepieces from the successful Pano Collection are now available in red gold versions with a matt black dial, and in polished/satin brushed stainless steel editions with a dark blue dial.
