Girard-Perregaux has just opened Imagine Japan at the Musée d'Ethnographie in the city of Neuchâtel, Switzerland (MEN). The introductory part of this exhibition conceived by the MEN was inaugurated on the historically significant date of February 6, 2014, coinciding with the official commemoration of the 150th anniversary of the first Friendship and Trade Treaty between Switzerland and Japan.

Swiss watchmaker Blancpain, in association with the Historical Diving Society Hans Hass Award Committee, has announced that Chinese Professor Cui Weicheng, Research Professor and Dean of the Hadal Science And Technology Center of the Shanghai Ocean University individually, and the Chinese State Oceanic Administration collectively, have won the 2014 Hans Hass Award.
