Ah, the perils of claiming a British first, never mind a world first when it comes to watchmaking. During last weeks’ announcement of the new Bremont Wright Flyer, the BWC/01 movement was hailed as the first movement created in-house by the British brand, whereas more accurately it was developed in partnership with La Joux-Perret in Switzerland.
