Detroit based watch brand Shinola has opened a new dial manufacturing operation in its home town. The brand is teaming up with the Taiwanese company BAT Ltd, makers of dials for more than 30 years. BAT will train Shinola’s Detroit-based craftsmen and women in the art of dial manufacturing via an intensive coaching program and meticulous hands-on instruction.
