Vacheron Constantin announces no less than six new additions to their much-admired Overseas Collection. These will include:
Four 37 mm-diameter models: two with a stainless-steel case and two with a stainless- steel case and pink gold bezel. There’s a chronograph with a 42.5 mm-diameter stainless steel case and pink gold bezel, and a stainless-steel and pink gold model with a 41mm diameter. The bracelets and straps are all interchangeable, and they are all powered by
Manufacture calibers adorned with a pink gold windrose-inspired Overseas oscillating weight, visible through the sapphire crystal case back. Some watches are made to be worn on certain specific occasions, while others are suitable for any circumstances. The idea behind the new Overseas is additions is in the latter camp. Fitted with a strap that is easily interchangeable without any need for a tool, the collection now features six all-steel or two-tone references with a pink gold bezel.
All stainless steel versions
Two new steel references are available in a 37 mm, they are fitted with rosy beige or blue dials. Powered by Manufacture Caliber 5300 driving central hours and minutes hands as well as small seconds at 9 o’clock, these new models are delivered with a stainless steel bracelet accompanied by two additional straps in rubber and alligator leather respectively.
Stainless steel and pink gold versions
The Overseas collection also introduces four new models with a steel case topped by 18K 5N pink gold bezel.
The chronograph offered in 42.5 mm is equipped with mechanical self-winding Manufacture Caliber 5200, and displays its functions on a translucent silver-toned lacquered dial. This model is fitted with a column wheel coordinating the chronograph start, stop and zero-reset functions, as well as a vertical coupling clutch preventing any jolting of the hand when the chronograph starts. The signature Vacheron Constantin column wheel is adorned with a screw shaped like the brand’s emblematic Maltese cross. This movement is equipped with a twin barrel enhancing its torque and reliability, while ensuring a more than 50-hour power reserve. The new-version Overseas chronograph will adapt to various styles with two interchangeable (alligator and brown rubber) straps delivered with this model.
The second two-tone model focuses on essentials, displaying the hours, minutes, seconds and date on a translucent silver-toned lacquered dial. Housed in a 41mm stainless steel and pink gold case, the Manufacture Caliber 5100 is Hallmark of Geneva certified, just like the other calibers powering the new Overseas timepieces. Worn with a dark brown alligator leather or rubber strap, this new variation will elegantly accompany its owner to the four corners of the earth.
Stainless steel and pink gold also adorn the two models featuring slimmer 37mm cases. One of these versions comes with an 18K 5N pink gold bezel lit up by 84 round-cut diamonds. Powered by the caliber 5300, these Overseas watches are delivered with two dark brown straps, one in alligator leather and the other in rubber. The result is a pleasing blend of casual chic charm and sophisticated refinement.
