Breguet celebrates the modern gentleman by continuing its “Classic Tour” in the Big Apple.
After visiting several major cities around the world this past year, it’s the turn of New York City to welcome the worldwide tour with a look at a day-in-the-life of a bespoke gentleman living in New York.
The picture painted is that of the contemporary Breguet gentleman; elegant and detailed – just like a Breguet watch. His life is purposeful and precise. He begins each morning by slipping on a Breguet Classique wristwatch, then forges ahead for the day at hand with the help of his city’s finest artisans.
To demonstrate this dapper lifestyle, Breguet hosts an evening of refinement at the world-renowned international home of music, Carnegie Hall. New York, Carnegie Hall is known for performances by some of the most iconic figures in history. From Sergei Rachmaninoff to Arthur Rubenstein, the Carnegie Hall stage has been graced by many a Breguet watch owner. Breguet is proud to be the Exclusive Timepiece of Carnegie Hall.
“My tastes are simple: I am easily satisfied with the best”
Sir Winston Churchill, Breguet Client
On the evening of July 12, 2018, the modern gentleman was celebrated for his panache and savoir-faire. Featuring a bespoke tailor, personalized shoe care, and hand-made cigars, the Breguet “Classic Tour” event was accentuated by Breguet master watchmakers on-site to demonstrate the art of hand-made guilloche on a watch dial, and provide detailed presentations on the unparalleled craftsmanship of Breguet.
The star of the “Classic Tour” is the timeless Breguet Classique collection, which offers the brand’s widest variety of watches. The Classique collection ranges from traditional to complicated modernity with enough mechanical features to feast the horological eye.
In 2018, Breguet continues to innovate with new models such as the Classique Extra-Thin Tourbillon 5367 with “Grand Feu” enamel dial, the Classique Extra-Thin 5157 wristwatch in rose gold with a hand-made guilloche dial, and several selections for ladies.
