Initially conceived for explorers, either underwater or in space, the 24-hour function in the watch allowed the wearer to determine whether it was AM or PM.
Today, Frederique Constant launches in its Classics collection a new contemporary and everyday watch with a 24-hour caliber adding a touch of precision and a universal reference point.
The Classics line is fitted with the robust FC-332 automatic movement with a 38-hour power reserve. The dark grey or silver colored dial is enhanced with Clou de Paris decoration and features hours, minutes and seconds with the 24-hour day displayed in the center of the watch, and the hour hand makes one complete revolution, 360°, in a day representing a whole day at a time.
Offered in polished stainless steel, the Classics Automatic 24H watch comes in one 43 mm size. While the traditional wristwatch primarily revolves around the easily mastered 12-hour clock, this interesting Frederique Constant timepiece is available for the aficionado who wants to keep time in an alternative way with this twenty-four-hour function.
