As Mido celebrates its centenary year, its new Ocean Star Diver 600 is water-resistant to a pressure of 60 bar.
Although not officially certified, it includes a helium valve and the bezel features engraved numerals filled with Super-LumiNova Grade X® which allows the diving time to be read with extreme accuracy, whatever the visibility.
The movement is the latest generation Calibre 80 Si, a COSC-certified chronometer movement with a silicone balance-spring which provides up to 80 hours of power reserve with both accuracy and the ability to withstand impacts.
Originally created in 1944, the Ocean Star collection is designed expressly for exploring the seabed is built to withstand any storm and complies with ISO 6425 certification.
Fitted with a stainless steel bracelet with a folding clasp, it is water-resistant to a pressure of 60 bar (600 m/1,968 ft). In one final surprise, the case back is adorned with a polished starfish in relief, the symbol of the Ocean Star collection.
