Congratulations on your new Rangeman! :-!

Now, bookmark this link: http://support.casio.com/storage/en/manual/pdf/EN/009/qw3410.pdf

As Chrisek said, for the "atomic" feature to work properly, you'll need to set the correct "home city" and make sure that auto receive is set to "on."

For everything else, like sunrise/sunset times, and calibrating the compass, barometer and thermometer, you'll want to check the manual.

The Rangeman is probably THE most complicated all-digital G-Shock that Casio makes, with a user manual more than twice as long as some more "basic" solar atomics like the GW-6900. You'll probably need to refer to the manual VERY often while you learn all the features of your new watch.

Homezone, sunrise/sunset you have to set only once. You should leave thermometer and barometer alone, both require usually never any calibration. The compass should be re-calibrated from time to time, I recommend 3-4 times a year. And the altimeter you have to calibrate as often as you can, since it will drift the whole day up und down due to airpressure changes and the lack of an altimeter lock.

cheers

While trying real hard to "be nice"...I have to ask, why don't you try reading the manual?

Why is reading a manual or if you don't have one read it online not something you do?

So many people ask question after question that is explained in the manual.

I can't possibly remember every button push for all of mine or all of it's functions so I sometimes refer to the manuals. If you can type a question and read the answer online why not read the manual? I just don't understand this.

The main benefit to reading the manual is you just might learn other things about your watch.

Maybe Casio should Text Message the darn thing so people today will read it in a format they are used to reading.;-)

Have a nice day.:)

you know its funny but i am a member of a different non watch forum and we were talking about this recently. one guy who works for a company said the company realizes most people throw the box and all the paperwork in the garbage right away so they didnt even bother including a manual and everybody just went online for instructions lol. maybe people dont even realize they have an instruction book but alot of them yeah like you said dont have the attention span plus the 2x1 inch format is not exactly easy to use with your watch it would be nice if they would include a big fold out sheet like the pdfs you can download. those are easier to follow.

Go to... CASIO Worldwide
1. select manuals (bottom left)
2. select watches
3. agree to terms
4. put your module number for your watch model
and you can print the manual in a larger easier to read manual. I have done this for all of my different Gshocks.

Edit- when I typed this go to should read three w's. casio.com, the forum automatically changed it to casio worldwide
Edit-Duh, you can still go there via the link, there is just a couple of more steps, you should be able to figure it out.

Is there anything I need to do to set atomic and triple sensor. Like codes coordinates. I remember like monograph or tide graph you need? Thanks. First atomic watch
There is a very good 2 part YouTube video review online that will help you out if you don't feel like reading the manual.
