Hi WUS, my first post!
I just got the bracelet version bn150-61e a couple of days ago.
Quite satisfied so far. The bracelet is really comfortable and I like the divers extension, which makes it very easy to adjust.
My only concern is the mineral glass. I have got already a small scratch on the glass after "gently" banging the watch against a metallic door knob. So much for a beater watch o|. Not very impressed with that. I'm used to sapphire and I think I will stick to sapphire going forward. Even if others can't see the scratch, I can, and that annoys me.

Anyway, overall pretty happy with the watch. I can't wait to wear it in my next dive, whenever that might be. :-d

Hi Watchomatic! I don't get your complain, it's only now that you have a scratch on the crystal that you have a beater!! Not kidding around! I heard you can disguise the scratches a bit using abrasive toothpaste, those aggressive whitening ones like Denivit or similar. I doubt it very much but there are threads on here that swear they do work.

I know it sucks to get a scratch on your new watch but that really takes the safe queen element away and gets you a proper beater. If you want to go sapphire, besides Hiro recommendation, there's also taucheruhren.de if you are in Europe. Mind you that a crystal swap will mean you'll have to have it pressure tested, etc if you want to keep the WR. Soooo... just wear the damn thing and don't worry about it! A banged up diver just tells people you are a regular Bear Grylls :-d

Re: Citizen BN0151-09L some pics

I purchased a navy HD (Heavy Duty) NATO strap from Crown and Buckle with black PVD hardware (Navy HD NATO - 20mm Ballistic Nylon - Crown and Buckle). Even though they call these straps NATOs they are actually ZULUs (correct me if I'm wrong!). The strap has a nice oily finish/quality that changes in the light and matches the watch nicely. It's hard to capture its actual colour on camera but here are my best efforts.

That's a great combo! I like it!

Yep, that style is technically called Zulu by Maratac.

We all call them that but, according to Eddie from Time Factors, he's the one that came up with these straps. They were called Rhino straps when he sold them. Just a curiosity and a bit of trivia I never verified or cared to try.

I would like to ask if there are any alternative bezels for these watches. Just for playing around or for replacement in case o damaged ones.
Also my watch has a small gap (hairline thickness) between the bezel and the case. When I tap the bezel a click sound comes up. Is this normal?

Not that I know of and I'm willing to say with 99% confidence there aren't. No such thing as the Seiko mod scene with Citizen. Couple of options for the classic automatic NY0040 but I don't even think there's a bezel option with that one. If you damage it, return it to Citizen for replacement.

As to the gap, mine is pretty tight but it has to have a gap, otherwise you would scrap the case with the bezel once you turned it. That and sand that can get in, so yes, I would say it's normal.

As mentioned above, a beater watch by definition is something that's meant to take hard knocks. It still sucks that it got scratched, though. Enjoy your new piece and welcome to WUS.

Thanks guys, it's all good, I'm over it already (the scratch I mean).
I'm loving the watch so far!
I know you like the clasp thus far but if the size and absence of real microadjustements start to bug you, browse a few pages back. I ended up replacing it on my Excalibur (same clasp) for a shorter one with conventional microadjustement.

I noticed the lack of microadjustments, but it fits me well (for now) after revoming 3 links from the bracelet. The first day I was wearing it with the diver extension extended 1 click, but not anymore. I hope I won't feel the need to tight it a bit again. The only option i can see is removing another link and using the extension to adjust the bracelet... or replacing the clasp as you did.

Wow. 214 pages. Think this model may be my first Citizen. Without wading through this monster thread, does anyone have a quick reference for the SS bracelet? I would only get the blue if the bracelet is available and for a reasonable price.

A fellow member from Canada contacted Citizen Canada and they told him that they could order a bracelet for him. I'm sorry that I forgot how much it was and the reference number of the bracelet though. It's buried somewhere in this thread.
