Here is an SKX that has a bit of a modding history. It's a classic 1995 SKX007 case/dial, with Yobokies Patina'd sword hands. It contains an new SII NH36A movement (6R white label movement made by Seiko Instruments). This makes it an "SKX007 Upgraded" as it has the ability to hack and be hand wound. It retains water rating although i've not tested it personally; the stem is sealed as an normal SKX007 is. The bracelet is a William Jeans Super Oyster II, the first version as it seems current ones have a solid non-bending end-link. I will include the extra links to make it complete.
This SKX is basically what'd you expect Seiko to produce as an updated version.
I've actually modeled this SKX as a kind of a homage to the Steinhart Ocean Vintage Military (OVM).
As for condition; as the watch case/hardlex crystal are old, they show signs of wear but not abused. Light scratches. Crystal is clean, no chips, no scratches worth noting. Bracelet has normal desk diving wear, i.e. clasp and some of the links have light scuffs. Dial is classic 1995 SKX, i.e. lume is faded not by artificial means but just by age. Sword hands by Yobokies are Patina'd I think artificially because the lume still works pretty well.
Everything operates as it should and the time keeping is great.
