It has been a quite busy and awesome year for Ferro Watches since our first launch on Kicstarter back in December of 2014.
After having two successful KS projects and shipping over 1000 single hand watches to over 50 countries, we are getting ready to ship the Ferro Airborne watches to our 2nd KS backers in January and currently are working on our 3rd watch project which will be launched in a couple of months.

Those lucky folks that already have their Ferro Watch(es) please post your pictures here along with your comments, and those who have not heard of Ferro watches, please check us out at www.ferrowatches.com

Your opinions and comments on these watches will be greatly appreciated. That is how we create and shape our watches - by listening to the watch enthusiasts.

Thank you
Bardia

That's very beautiful though I am too inane to suffer a one hander. I get eye twitches if my watch is more than 5s off standard time.

I like the numerals font and needle hand on the single handed watches, The pilot version doesn't share the refined look of the single hander and doesn't appeal. The Ferro motif looks a bit too much like Ferrari's. I wouldn't mind the single hander in quartz for half the price of the miyota auto version but 44mm is simply too big for me.

Ugly pointless watch, looks likes the hands have fallen off leaving a stuck second hand, lugs look ugly and cheap, and the Ferrari logo is bordering on copyright theft. But this whole thread is a shameless advert anyway that doesn't belong in the main forum.

At least the OP didn't hide the shameless self promotion.

How many threads do we see called "Hey have you seen XYZ brand?" By a single post wonder and know it's shameless self promotion under a heads up guise.

With that said I agree that the logo is embarrassing and the designs are not my cup of tea. Is Ferro a forum sponsor and if not is this type of self promoting kosher as it relates to the forum rules?

Thank you for your comment. The idea of having a single hand is to have a more laid back and relaxing phase, as exact minutes will not matter. Also we created this single hand intentionally to resembles the tachometers of sports cars which was the actual inspiration of the design of the Ferro Distinct models. Ferro also has created a 3 hand watch which will be available online by late February of 2016. Check them out when you have time at Ferro Airborne Pilot Watch Collection - Ferro Watches
Thanks :)

Thank you for your comment. Ferro is not just a single hand watch brand. Each design comes from an inspiration. The Ferro Airborne pilot watches are inspired by the WWll aviation and are made of Titanium Grade 5. As for the logo, we have actually modified it a bit and will be used from our next production batch on. We are also adding a 42mm space inspired watch to our collection. It will first go live on Kickstarter in a few weeks. Stay tuned :)

Dear Maxmoro,
I am sorry about your experience. But as stated before in our e mails, the warranty does not cover second hand ownership and is not transferable. This applies to many other brands as well. If you were the first owner (purchased directly from us our our KS campaing), we would have honored a repair or even a replacement of the watch. Customer satisfaction is our priority. Thank you again for your understanding.
Watch out if you buy the quartz version and have to deal with them!!

Hello CREX,
Thank you for your comments. The Ferro Single hand watch design was actually very well received by many people around the globe. We do understand that some people do not like what other like and vice versa. As you know, every person has a different taste. By designing our watches, we take many aspects into considerations. For instance, this particular model had to be a single hand watch because it was inspired by a sports car tachometers. So by having 3 hands in this particular model, the inspired design would be completely lost. As for the logo, we have modified it and will be in effect from our next production batch and on. Nevertheless the design of our logo had nothing to do with Ferrari. It must have been a coincidence. I hope that our new logo will eliminate the confusions of some people.

I thought I might enter the conversation.

I purchased (through Kickstarter).. actually my wife did.. one of their new Airborne watches.

just sort of a mini review..

- No Lume on the hands .. really kind of strange..
- Was sent the wrong watch. My wife had selected the white dial, but I received the Green dial. Decided to keep the Green dial. it really is good looking.
- Its actually very wearable at 44 mm... its light and thin.
- The Chronograph movement is actually really nice

I actually like the watch, I think it was a good price.

But.. I think its really odd that they missed lume on the hands.

Thank you for your post Quazi,
First I wanted to apologize for sending the wrong color of watch. If you still wish exchange the watch, please e mail me to info@ferrowatches.com
As for lume hands issues, we have already posted an update on KS, and are resolving this issue. For some reason, the factory sent some watches with none lumed hands by mistake.

Thank you again for your comments and hope your love with Ferro will grow :)
