Well this is my thousandth post. So I thought, as a sort of celebration, I would post some photos of a great meal I had with my family.
There is a 'G' in there somewhere as well!
Wife and daughter on the way to dinner.
So we started with some 'Amuse Bouche'

Devilled Quails Egg with American Caviar.

Italien Buffalo Mozzarella with Pine Nuts.
Spiced Buffalo Tenderloin.
and we drank Pommery Royale Brut with that.
We followed with.

and we drank Maximmin Grunhäuser Reisling Kabinett Abtsberg, Mosel 2007 with that.

We had a Trinitas "Old Vine" Zinfandel, Contra Costa County 2005 with that.
Marcho Farms Veal Tenderloin with Marble Potatoes, Ramps and Sauce Soubise.
We had a Cesari Mara Ripasso Valpolicella, Veneto 2006 with that.
Tasting of Australian "Kobe" Beef Tenderloin and Japanese Wagyu Strip Loin with Oxtail Jus.
We had a Benziger "Tribute", Sonoma Mountain 2005 with that.
Cheese course!
Colsten Bassett Stilton, Coach Farm's Goat, Gouda Beemster XO, 36-Month Aged Parmigiano-Reggiano and Thomasville Tomme.

Finally coffee.
So I hope you enjoyed this 'Foodie' thread (I know the late lamented Mansrow would have done!) thought I would do something different for my 'thousandth'.
Thanks to all the other members on here who make this 'G' forum such a great place.
