I have always loved the Tudor BB but I will most likely never be able to get one.

So I was thinking having a BB homage assembled by Helena Rou. They told me assembly was free if all parts were bought from them. The total would be around US$ 435 shipped which doesn't sound too bad.

I have read mixed reviews about them though so I'd love to hear the forum's current thoughts! Good or bad idea? Should I drop another US$ 140 for a real ETA movt?

Please no homage debate :)

Thanks!

I have the Helenarou's red bezel BB case. Very nice quality, though the bezel action leaves something to be desired. I also have a BB-mod Seiko SKX. In the end, you'll probably be paying the same amount of money for the Helenarou watch and the Seiko mod.

My Seiko:
SKX007 $200
Murphy bezel $45
Bezel insert $15
Monster dome sapphire $45
Dial and hands: $50
Total: $360, not including assembly

Helenarou:
BB Watch Kit: $269 (the watch kit can be found on their website)
2824 Clone: $100
Total: $369, plus free assembly from Helenarou.
