Was the omega moowatch worn on the outside of the space suit during moon walks ?
If so what temperatures was the watch subject too ? Because as far as I can find out all lubricants are frozen at around -70c

The watch would not instantly freeze, but would loose heat slowly, because a certain amount of heat would be transferring through the heated sleeve of the spacesuit, even with insulation. In direct sunlight, the watch could even absorb radiant heat and lose very little, due to being in a vacuum. There are any number of photos showing watches on the outside of the suit...the timekeeping instruments which had to be outside continuously had Accutron movements.
