Hi guys, I am planning to get a weekend watch. Have actually ordered a Nomos Club from my local AD but have waited for nearly 3 months already and still no news on when the watch will reach so I am considering other options now. My main criterias are:

1) Reputable brand (prefer more mainstream brands)
2) Preferably no date (so that its easier for me to set as I will wear it mainly on weekends only)
3) 40mm or below case
4) something abit more casual and laidback yet can wear occasionally with office attires without looking weird
5) Water resistant preferably at least 100m
6) Prefer bracelet but leather strap also can
7) Budget is max $2200
8) Can complement my current watches i.e. not a duplicate and not very similar in style

I have done some research and have shortlisted the below watches which i feel fit my criterias and are watches which I like in terms of appearance.

1) Nomos Club Ref 701 (continue to wait for stock to arrive at my AD)

2) Nomos Club Timeless II

3) Seiko Presage SBP041

4) Omega Speedmaster Automatic 3210.52.00 (buying used)

5) Tudor BB 36

I am ok with either bracelet or strap but i personally feel bracelet is less maintenance than strap as I can just wash my hands without being careful as it won't be ruined by water.

Presage or Speedy for me, personally. Are you a bracelet or strap sort of guy, or both? Just say that because I prefer Speedmasters on leather.

Those are four great choices, and they are each different enough to make the decision difficult.
The question I would ask is what you plan to do on the weekend. In my option (for as much as it's worth), if you are planning to get sweaty on your weekend, then the bracelet would be the better option than a leather strap. A diver, or even a G-Shock, might be even better depending on how intense your weekend activities are.
If your plan is to relax with a beverage and a book, or engage in less strenuous activity, then the strap is no problem. It also depends on the specific strap or bracelet. Some bracelets are very comfortable and some are very efficient hair removal devices. Some straps are very comfortable and others not so much. The weight/mass is another thing to consider depending on your weekend activity. Everyone's definition of comfortable is different, so trying on each one with out looking at it might also be helpful in choosing the best one for your needs.
On weekends, looking at a timepiece and admiring the design is often more important than tracking the time.
"...can wear occasionally with office attires without looking weird" This is a difficult one to wrap my head around, because definitions of what "office attire" and "weird" can vary greatly. The Seiko would be my primary choice with office attire, but the Tudor and the Nomos would be fine too.
Of the choices you posted above, when I think "weekend," the Nomos and the Tudor are what my final decision would come down to, and it would be a hard choice to make.
While I cannot find a single fault in the Tudor, I do lean more toward the Nomos as the dial inspires a bit more of a casual feel for me, and I think weekends should be more casual. I frequently wear a Nomos and their Horween straps are superb from a comfort standpoint, so ultimately I would select the Nomos, if it were my choice.
Good luck.

I flat out dislike the Nomos Club, the Speedy is nice but the color combination is a little off-putting. The Tudor would be really nice without that massive divers crown, or those hands for a diver. While it's not my favorite Seiko I think I would go with the Presage out of these options.

Weekend should be relaxing and playful. In that spirit, I think both the Omega and the Nomos Timeless have the spirit of relaxing and playful.

The Seiko is a bit too dressy.
The Nomos Club is actually quite playful but less playful compared to the timeless one.

For a "weekend watch" considering your current collection I would definitely suggest a classic Speedy, but since I flat out dislike the blatant 3210.52.00 on your list I voted for the Black Bay 36.

(By the way, for 2200 USD you can get a new TEGIMENT Sinn as well or a secondhand Grand Seiko, both which I personally would prefer over anything you mentioned.)

Weekends should be fun and care-free so I say choose whatever watch speaks to you. I think of my weekends as being versatile; sometimes yard work and other times a night out with the fellas so not sure what watch in your list works for that range. With that said, I voted Tudor.

Certainly the Black Bay and Nomos Club will be the choice of most. For me, it would be the Presage. The dial and hands are absolutely lovely. The watch stands out from the combined blandness of the Nomos, Tudor, and Speedy.

Whichever watch you choose, wear it in great health!

So do I. Its case, I'm sure it's well made but it's exceedingly boring and very plain for the price. the rest of it's a bit basic as well.

Of that, I pick the Speedmaster. Funky colours and all. The Tudor's nice but no date, no dice. Yes I know there's a date on my phone. There's also the time on it as well.

It's a weekender, why do you need to know the date?

My weekend is generally quite relaxed and laidback. Nothing too sweaty or intense. Its basically just bringing my toddler outdoor to enjoy some sun or walk indoor in shopping centres. Going for the occasional movies/plays etc.

I agree with your idea of spirit of relaxing and playfulness. This is one of the main criterias i am looking at. My weekends are generally quite relaxed and happy, i try not to think of any stressful or unhappy stuffs. I shortlisted these watches because I feel they are not really the "serious" kind of watch.

Nomos Club to me is the most playful and relaxed model out of all the Nomos. That Omega is surprisingly quite unpopular here, must be the colour scheme. Haha.

If budget permits, my ideal speedy is the sapphire sandwich moonwatch, don't like the original hesalite version. But brand new for sapphire sandwich is quite expensive and I didn't manage find a used copy of the sapphire sandwich online or at shops in my country which I find very strange. Either many don't own this watch or they are not selling.

GS is out as i find most if not all their models more serious and dressy pieces which does not suit my criterias for a weekender. Nothing much in the Sinn catalogue appeals to me except for U1 which I had but sold off because its too big for my wrist.

I do like the funky colours of the speedy but would much prefer it to be without date.
