I got my first Rolex today and I am elated. To me it looks flawless and better than brand new (not sure if it was polished). I LOVE THE WHITE ROMAN DIAL & SILVER HANDS! I think that's the best part. Second best part is that this is from the last 600 ever produced (K serial number dating to 2001 and last 2 years of production Rolex only produced 600/year). Who knows, it could be the last one ever made? I know that I only like this white roman dial, all the other dials seem dated and not very attractive. So this one was made for me. This comes off as modern and has a very positive vibe IMHO.

It does feel a bit small coming from bigger watches but I hope I get used to it over time. I love the simplicity, ease, reliability and accuracy of quartz. I was a bit hesitant to buy this but I don't have any regrets now seeing it. The dial is just gorgeous. It fit like a glove right out of the box with all 13 links installed. I thought it would be heavier being a full stainless steel watch. It is really a tank and feels very solid. The bracelet is so gorgeous I can't let it off my wrist!
Here it is on my wrist:

Here are pics to the auction:

My only regret is not buying one of these 15 years ago. I do think I am going to buy another to add to my collection. I plan to keep this for life but I have seen where my plans have changed over the years.

I do want another one but black dials aren't my thing. I would consider the silver stick dial but it isn't exceptionally attractive when looking at photos on the internet. The stick dials come off as a bit dated to me.

How often can you polish a watch? I love how flawless my watch is and scared of scratching the bracelet. Is once a year ok? Does it eventually destroy the watch? I know collectors prefer to see the scratches but as a user I would rather it be nice, new looking and clean. I would like to make this watch my daily watch.

I am looking at your watch and comparing it to my watch and I can't tell a difference in terms of edges. I think mine was polished.

Your watch is beautiful and the silver dial was my second choice. I am keeping an eye for a second one it may have that dial or the White Roman Dial. At the moment I am still preferring the White Roman dial because it makes the watch seem less vintage.
