Hello guys,

My sinn 104 is running a little bit too fast for my taste. It is running around 18 seconds fast for a day. The watch itself is not magnetized or something.
I have purchased the watch a month ago so it's still decent. But is their anyone who can help me with this problem? Thanks.

Is that your primary wearer and are you wearing it throughout the day only resting it at night? If not, wear it for a week and see how it runs. Resting a watch face up usually produce a few seconds extra per day. My 103 runs 14-15 sec fast when I don't wear it and only resting it face up in the box. When I wear it for a few consecutive days it slows down to about 6 sec fast per day. The difference could be quite remarkable.

Just to be sure, have you actually tested it for magnetism or are you saying that because it's new?
I have tested it yeah.

I usually lay it on it's crown because the surface is smaller. I also wear it everyday and take it off when i get to bed.

If your Sinn has an ETA movement, any local watch shop can help adjusting the watch to better accuracy.

Well it's a copy of an ETA movement, it's a Selitta SW220-1 movement
There is chance that they have the right tool for adjusting your watch.

I have an 856 (Sellita SW300) and 356 (Sellita SW500). They both initially seemed erratic, especially the 356, randomly gaining or losing 15 seconds a day and occasionally the 356 would gain several seconds in just a couple of hours. However, after about two weeks they both settled down and became among the most accurate and consistent watches I've ever had. The 856 will sometimes only gain a second over several days, if I constantly wear it, and the 356 is usually about a second fast or slow per day. They both run about two seconds fast if I leave them on the winder for 24 hours.

So just give it some time and hopefully it will settle down.
