Just received my amphibian. I realize the crown is intentionally designed to be wobbly. How do you guys get to set the date? Just a pain in the rear side getting the crown position right to set the date.
Someone else will probably answer more in depth, but apparently there's a way to move the hands between the 8 and 12 marks to quickly set the time-without having to rotate around a full 24 hours.Just received my amphibian. Here it isSomeone else will probably answer more in depth, but apparently there's a way to move the hands between the 8 and 3 marks to quickly set the time-without having to rotate around a full 24 hours.

Except, of course, for February, April, June, September and November.......hahahaIf you want to be safe, just advance the hands 24 hours for every day you need to move forward. It's a pain to do but if you wear the watch for a while you won't have to do it but once.

Well, yes, but we are on a watch hobbyist site so I was assuming "for a while" meant a couple of weeks before rotating to the next watch in the box [emoji6]Except, of course, for February, April, June, September and November.......hahaha
Nice view in the 3rd pic.We buy models without date.

Nice idea. I might start doing this. Also, takes away the dilemma of what to wear on a given day.I do not have a huge collection, but I see a solution for those having 30+ watches: They will all stop after 1-2 days after you took them off from your arm. If you change watch frequently, most of the days during the month you will find a watch that stopped at the right date. If there would actually not be even one watch with the right date, you would simply take one that only need a minor adjustments to the date, or you would wear your current watch one day more.
Like this the date window would act like a randomizer for when you pick up a certain watch.
What's the reference on the 3rd watch? Love that gray dial.Date windows are something I can take or leave. I've got three Amphibia. One has no date, the other two have dates. I chose these three because I found their dial design attractive. But truthfully, I don't bother with the date on these watches, unless it happens to be very close to correct when I pick up the watch. Otherwise, I just wear the watch and enjoy it, and ignore the date.

I imagine you looking through a magnifying glass. lolI've actually just started looking through the window of my watch case and choosing the one with the date closest to the current date![]()
