When the AK first came out, I didn't care for it. Then I saw it on a Rubber B, and now I think it's really great. When the dominant color of the watch is black and the dial numbers are an accent color (and the green logo has something to match), it seems much less busy to me. I've seriously considered buying this as a casual sporty beater. To me it's much prettier than a Milgauss.

Wow! I've never seen the AK on that RubberB strap - it looks incredible! I'm a big fan of RubberB and currently am wearing the all black RubberB strap on my Tudor BB blue.

You may have just swayed the mind a little bit!!

For me the non GV (green glass) versions are nothing special. Out of the GV models I've only ever owned black, but now trying to get a blue one. Can't go wrong with either one really.
For sure - thanks again for the insight. Of the GV models you've owned, did you ever tire of the orange color or lightening bolt?

Isn't the gmt priced about the same? Just get what you ultimately want. I've owned a Milgauss and it's too big and shiny to be functional. The new AK is an f-ing monstrosity so that's obviously out. Find a deal and get the gmt now
That's a fair assessment. Which Milgauss model did you own? Anything else besides being too big and shiny that you didn't like?

Milgauss. Its got a much more interesting movement
The movements are identical.
The only differences between the Milgauss and Air-King are cosmetic.
