What are you thoughts on the Strapcode bracelet?
Having spend a lot of money on bracelets from different companies....
$750 for Tudor bracelet
$800 (about) for an Omega bracelet
$400 for a Longines bracelet
And another $600 for an original Tudor bracelet for my vintage Tudor Prince Chrono....

Above is all to keep everything original for the best look and because I didn't get them on the bracelet initially...

...I can tell you that these Strapcode bracelets are great value for money. Milled clasp, solid construction, great fit, screwed links, plenty of micro adjustments. Everything about them feels very, very well made. Are they on Tudor or Rolex level, nope. And the first few days they do squeak a little sometimes, but that goes away quickly.

For what you pay, they offer tremendous value. They wear super comfortable. Thinking of picking one up on oyster style one for my Tudor Blackbay with polished center links to add some bling.

I wholeheartedly recommend them.

thank you composer for this info.
I read many reviews (didnt think of looking @ Amazon) and each one seemed to say 38mm. Also went to Long Island Watch, Chrono24 - most say 38mm & some say 38.5mm.
Indeed Amazon ad does say 39.5mm. Now I'm all confused - probably why i've not pulled the trigger on the 017.... ;-)

If you want to spend a tiny bit more money, I recommend letting seiya know that you want an OEM bracelet. He will put you on a list and ship it as soon as he gets them (assuming things haven't changed since the sarb days). I've got a strapcode and an OEM and very much prefer the latter.

Interesting. Which one from strapcode do you have? I recently got a new sumo and changed to strapcode as the OEM was rather uninspiring.

Even the Grand Seiko bracelets I have are not that great. Comfortable yes but leave things to be desired.

Hi guys,
A big Shout Out to Koolpep on this thread. What a gentleman and is the kind of guy that makes watchuseek the reason I am a member. I reached out to him as I saw he had recently purchased the new Alpinist and that he lived in Dubai and I am going there shortly. Not only did he reply immediately he also set up a contact for me with where he bought it and they even offered me a discount because I knew him. A green Alpinist is awaiting my arrival and he even advised me how I can get 5% vat back on leaving Dubai. Take a bow Koolpep.

If I'm to judge by the strapcode jubilee and endmill I have for my turtles, I find them highly overpriced and cheaply made for the $.

The clasp on my jubilee has one area with sharp edges, and the links, while solid, somehow manage to pull my arm hair on the odd occasion (for reference my own OEM SKX jubilee, for all the flak it gets, on an SKX of course, never does that).

The endlinks on that SC Jubilee also have sharp edges and arent finished properly.

Just mass produced Chinese bracelets IMHO.....which is fine if I'm paying no more than 40 USD.

It's the same case as the 017 which if you find a video where the youtuber actually does due diligence and measures with digital calipers and not with hearsay you'll see is 39.5mm end of story.

Arrived this week. I was ready to change the strap immediately but finally kept it for a few days as it is much more confortable than I thought and certainly a lot more than the SARB017 one. Will try other straps in the coming days, including the SARB017 OEM bracelet.

yup! I saw your other thread where you measured using dig calipers at 8 o'clock-2 o'clock. Thanks once again for this effort to dispel all doubts.
My confusion is gone!
I do still have reservations on the 017 as, for me, there is too much steel bezel & I feel the 017 will wear small on my 7" wrist. Dont have a place to try the watch so being extra diligent on prep work before pulling the trigger.
Not sure if there are other 7" wrist members with the 017? if yes, does the 017 look ok or too small?

I have a 7.3" flat-ish wrist and It wears just fine - if you want to cast any doubt aside then buy a bracelet for it like the strapcode one which will effectively extend the lugs and give it more wrist presence

Well I picked up mine in Dubai ( thanks to Koolpep earlier in this thread ) last Wednesday February 12th. I wore the first night and following day and has been either in a suitcase or room safe until just now. It has gained 7 seconds since Wednesday ( wow ) and is still going so 70 hr power reserve working well. I went for the green and I love the cyclops because I need it. Date figures are as good as my GMT Master II and it wears like a 39mm. All previously said about the strap is true.
The watch is better than I hoped for and my wife even likes it.

Have a 7.25 inch wrist and I think it's fine.
