I got the O25 solar Arnie about a week ago and have been wearing it virtually non stop. I've been debating whether to keep the OEM plastic shroud or replace it with a black steel shroud. I have both the 033 and 025 Tunas to compare. Seeking your thoughts and perception. Clearly a First World Problem. Thanks!

i think the smart thing of those solar tunas is the plastic shroud, it absorb better the impacts and it should be less prone to scratches, it's less heavy and it's cheaper to replace

Agreed.
While I understand why folks would want a metal shroud, IMHO the plastic shroud with rubber strap gives the appearance closest to the originals....which I believe was the intent of the watch.

I'd also keep it as it came - but if you decide to swap make sure to keep the OEM one!

Looks best original. Will not change it. All metal is just to much especially the way the watch head is designed.

I got two steel shrouds for mine to try, one black steel and one brushed steel. For me the brushed looked better. It added 12 grams of weight. I wouldn't mind adding more, it's still on the light side

Just in. Loving the full metal jacket look.
On bracelet, it measures 163 grams on the scale sized to 6.5" wrist - at the limit of what I'm comfortable wearing weight wise.
