Already review? it just been out today. So far it's Fenix 7 with touchscreen and OLED rest is not sure what is there. New modes ... yes but hardware vise who knows. My bet new CPU because old was not capable of driving 460X460 screen.

Yes "already reviewed" when you got access to all those new watches since the beginning of December, there is no surprise: they are "in depth review" like I have answered already to your question on the other thread: Fenix 7 Release

"Desfit, DC Rainmaker and Chasethesummit are very close to Garmin which gave them the opportunity to test them (and buy them) before the official release.
They were obliged to wait the D Day before releasing their article.
It is common.

Actually Ray said he got the watch over one month and a half to test them with the all the flock of GPS he already got. Screenshot from CD Rainmaker Epix review."

The interesting thing about Ray's review is how he stated that Garmin has shot in their own foot by bringing a gorgeous AMOLED display and "killed the Fenix's line".

What§ do you think ?

I got same impression. Strange why Garmin if they had watch ready skipped holiday buying spree but that's on their marketing department. Probably they had too much stock of older models which they moved at significant discounts.
When my friend asked should he buy one i said no wait for 7. Discounts been floating since August so model was ready long time ago.
It's impressive watch and such but here in Canada it become even more expensive. Which frankly prices me out for good. Even Venue 2 is more expensive compared to competition. I do see a lot if instincts. Not a lot like Samsung/Apple/fashion/fitbit but much more than Fenix. Fenix i see only once in a wild. It's a cool watch but it's too much for anyone but people who really need it. Garmin is moving in right direction and i think 7 is very good upgrade though very safe one.

Is the Epix the Fenix 7 killer?
When the new Instinct will be released?
Is the LED light the next add to the futur 7SPlus and 7 Plus?

Looking forward to seeing some real life testing from early adopters!

Epix is Fenix 7 with OLED display. So not much killing going on. Just flavors. At some point someone will do teardown and we will know for sure.
I think Epix and Fenix are targeted at different folks. with Epix been more slick and traditional smartwatch like look for indoors and Fenix true outdoor companion. Garmin drive to create a lot of submodels is confusing.
I really think Epix is very impressive with battery life besting anyone else with OLED. Not that surprising considering size of this thing but still good. In GPS mode it actually phenomenal.
Anyone got Garmins prior to release.

I read Ray’s review and was surprised at this statement as well. Watching his video and seeing the differences and contrasts between the Epix2 and Fenix 7, I have to admit that Epix is looking very nice! I actually saw a FB Marketplace add for someone selling a brand new Epix2 for $350! That’s got SCAM written all over it!
