But those aren’t brand names and I don’t think Rolex came up with them, if we start discussing horrible watch nicknames I do agree. I hate all the Rolex nicknames, just like I hate the Seiko ones. The worst are nicknames after a particular person, real or fake

Well, people pay five figures for a watch with snoopy cartoon character on the dial. I think nicknames aren't as bad. Each to their own. :D
