Ever notice that when you're looking at watches with bracelets online that many brands never show the clasp in the pictures? I'm into bracelets but don't love the low grade stamped clasps on a lot of them (Looking at you Sinn!). So, I look for the clasp when I'm shopping. When I don't see it, I either assume it sucks or look for a video that might show it. Anal? Absolutely, but I'm sure I'm not alone on this. Right?

I have and have had many watched on bracelets and agree that the clasp is hugely important.
Butterfly clasps with no micro adjustment are a real bug bear of mine and don’t get me started on my Rado captain cook with a fold over clasp with no micro adjustment holes. WTF is that all about?
By far the best clasp I own is on a Christopher Ward Sealander, excellent bracelet and superb clasp with on the fly adjustment. In the Christopher Ward sale I’ve just picked up a C60 sapphire on a bracelet rather than a strap due the the bracelet quality and clasp.

The least interesting thing in the world. It’s just an accessory that isn’t even part of the watch. It gets chucked into the drawer where all stock straps go when they are replaced with a good leather strap.

I am mostly a bracelet only guy, so the clasp is important to me as well.

However, finding pictures of one, if it is a watch I am considering, can sometimes be a scavenger hunt......

Wish more stock images would show this feature.

Of course not just you.

Not just watches literally every product out there. They never show you useful product information.

I have often wondered they are doing this wanting you to go into a brick and mortar shop. Good luck finding an AD who sells Sinns.

I've finally got a watch (my metal Casio Oak) with solid links and a milled clasp - feels so much better than the cheaper pressed steel ones and hollow links.

It is important, but I really only care that I see at least 3 micro adjust holes, or a ratcheting adjustment. I don't want any more bracelets with 2 or fewer. Whether it's stamped or whatever, not as important.

Long as it has micro adjustment I’m happy.

Pics of dial and hands are what I want to look at, most OEM straps never make it onto the watch with me.

Not only is the clasp important but how sharp the interior links are on your wrist. Sooo many companies refuse to "cut corners" if you will. My old Sub has 90Âş sharp links making the bracelet slightly uncomfortable. I think it must be expensive for companies to round off the edges.

I'll take a single-fold clasp with slightly beveled bracelet links please.

A lot of folks here state that the IWC bracelets are comfortable but I've never seen an explanation. Maybe it's because the beads of bricks (rice) are just naturally more comfortable.?
