Citizen seems like the best affordable brand. The only issue I have is their watch sizes. I'm looking for something versatile and I really struggle to find something really affordable and small. Citizen Excalibur would be perfect, but 50mm lug to lug and 23mm lug width with almost no space between spring bars and the case!

What's your opinion on this?

Anyone has this 37mm version: EO2021-05L - Japanese Watch Technology
Can you post wrist shot? Is it too small for men?

Looks like a smaller BN0151. Nice of Citizen to offer a reduced size but why limit their marketing reach by labeling it as a "Ladies" watch?
Wonder what the L to L is?
Citizen made a ladies version of the Excalibur ( EP6040-02E) but that one was 33mm and 40MM L to L.

Same sites say it's 36,5mm, some it's 37mm and I got info from a guy who owns it, that it's 34mm watch.
Here is a brand new video of that watch. The guy who owns it decided to make a short clip about it. Its actually 33-34mm watch, which is really small. Link:
That's a different model: EP6050-17E, which is indeed 33/34mm.

Oh, that is a really nice find. I absolutely love my BN0157 and even if 44mm pushes it with my 6.75" wrist, it still works fine with the short LtL.

That new EO series with 36,5mm looks like a good in between size (compared to the 34mm of the EP6050).

If they become available worldwide I'll definitely try them on.
The only thing that I would keep in mind is that they are 11,6mm thick, and this could make them seem a bit out of proportion on the wrist.

I have a 7 1/4" wrist.
The stock strap is rather narrow and bright.

I installed a Forstner 9-Bead 18mm bracelet. There is no taper to the bracelet, which I feel gives the watch more wrist presence.

I have Citizen Dive watches that are much larger and I wear them all, but it's kinda fun having a smaller dive watch. I've been wearing it more than anticipated.

It’s interesting that the blue model is different between regions. The North American and UK model is EO2028-06L and has blue surrounds on the hour markers (and a brighter strap?). Europe (Italy for example) gets model EO2021-05L which just has chrome surrounds like the larger version (and a darker blue strap?). Personally I’m not a fan of the blue hour marker surrounds. I’d definitely order mine from a European retailer if I wanted the 37mm version. The blue surrounds look kinda cheesy to me.
