It is still March, but leaks of new Galaxy Watch 7 started to circulate.
It seems like it about following things:
Possibly...
1. New SOC Exynos W940 which should come with bunch of improvements
2. 3 different models presented at same start line. I would assume it's all current models getting GW7 treatment
3. more storage on board
4. new WearOS/OneUI

So we should expect new SOC with more speed, smaller manufacturing process and longer battery life. As result of smaller die you should expect more storage.
Not sure what new WearOS will bring, but i doubt it will be revolution.

My main interest is battery life and possible sleep apnea detection as part of the package. If it back to where it was during Tizen ties it all good. Sure not Garmin good, but WearOS good. It could spoiled by intrusive AI gobbling all resources for better advertisement and revenue stream.

I will keep this one updated as more news will be appearing.

Chances are it could be my next smartwatch. So it is personal.

As GW7 release day come closer there is more signs of it approach.
40mm LTE model was spotted in BT database (same 5.3 BT)
And Samsung running sale on all non classic models. Which include GW6 and GW5 pro.

Recent developments suggest a significant storage increase for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Watch 7. This news follows earlier reports indicating the smartwatch’s unveiling at Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event scheduled for July 2024.
A leak from the Bluetooth SIG database identified a Samsung wearable device with the model number SM-L305U. This likely corresponds to the 40mm version of the Watch 7 featuring LTE connectivity for the US market.

Storage will be up to 32GB from 16Gb on current model and up from 4 GBs of previous models. Not all of it will be available i think about 6-7 GB are taken by system and that probably is reason for storage up.

Date of event is set in late July. 3d model confirmed.
It will be GW Ultra or GW X or whatever they won't get lawsuit for using a name.
It will be 100m WR model, with biggest battery, approximately 4 days of battery life and may be diving features.

So... cat is out of the bag along other things.
Main star of wearable show is sure Ultra
Yes it will get WearOS5 first
GW7 with WO5 seem like sensible option
GWU is 6050 USD which is not that much is you need all that Jazz.
Rest of the things get WO5 only after new pixel watch get it.
There are some promises of x-tra 30% battery life. But that was the case with each new WO and it was never promise kept.

Reviews are in
So far it's all almost good, but battery life is where it was. it seems like bigger battery, more efficient internals and allegedly more efficient OS are no match to AI and increased on board data processing requirements. Gains and loses are equally matched.
And that kind of disappointing. It also raises question of what will happen to older models when they will get new software.
