What are alternatives to Blue Datejust 36 on Jubilee below $600 USD?

I love the design of the Rolex Datejust 36mm, blue dial, on jubilee bracelet. Love the cyclops and the flutted bezel too. But I don't see myself paying that much money, nor being comfortable wearing it in public (maybe I will change my mind in the future but for now this is how I see it).

What alternatives (not Pagani or similar homages) are out there? Jubilee bracelet is a must, 36-38mm but not bigger. I am open to Micro-brands.

One option would have been perfect is the Traska Commuter 36mm with the blue dial but they don't come in Jubilee. Budget below $600 USD.

Any suggestions?

If the recognizable Rolex design is what you want then only a Rolex will satisfy.

Your options are to buy a cheap clone or figure out how to be happy with something different and original... and in your budget.

For $600 your best option is probably a Tissot PRX. Not quite the same, but has the wrist presence of a Datejust on Jubilee without the branding or price tag.

well, if I were in your shoes, I would rather be looking for a watch with jubilee that I like the most instead of looking for alternative. In general, to me the word alternative feels like a compromise and would never satisfy the itch for a particular design. Once I have decided that I am not willing to pay that much for a watch no mater how much I like it. I will never look for a look a like as it will always be a look a like not the one i liked.

Microbrands look at traska commuter, vaer, astor/banks, of course that lorier.

Bigger brands the Tissot and I think this is hard to beat:

If the Rolex is what you want, then I'm afraid only the Rolex will scratch the itch.
