The watch case needs to be marked 18K or Au750 gold. Sometimes the 18K gold etching is on the inside of the case back. When in doubt check online. If the bracelet is solid gold, great.

My beautiful bouquet of gold case watches. Only 0.2oz shy of 2 pounds. I was curious about the weight because the bag holding them was getting heavy. Gold case watches are so expensive compared to stainless steel watches but the allure of gold watches is very special.
