Being thoroughly smitten with my Seigiaha MM300 red dial, I'm feeling the itch for a lovely purple dialed watch. I stumbled upon a video showing a few really lovely ones and started looking around for some others but being notoriously easy to please I find myself able to make a case for most of them! So hoping you all can help narrow down (or alternatively, suggest other good options in the +/-$500 range). I'd prefer something with a Miyota 90xx to give me some exposure to them since I don't have any currently, but wouldn't rule out other movements completely.

Phoibos Eagle Ray
I've seen Phoibos here and there and always thought they looked nice, but never saw one that caught me enough. This one with its vivid purple dial definitely caught my eye. Not sure about the Seamaster style bracelet though. Also while I don't have anything against the NH35, I have so many 4R/NH35 watches that it makes it a little ho hum. Would much rather a Mioyta 90xx. But that said, I am not opposed to having another since they tend to be reliable (if somewhat inconsistent positional variance) and reasonably accurate. The lowest price point in the lineup today also helps.

Erebus Ascent
I've watched Jody's JOMW channel for some time, always enjoyed the content. Didn't care for their first watch, but this one looks nice and has a decent spec sheet. Two lovely looking purple dials here, though I know it's not especially original. Other con is it's a newer brand and not available until later this year as well. Hearing these are made where San Martin makes their watches is a plus to me, as the San Martins I have are superb. No idea either the QC/servicing aspect so lot of unknowns with this one for $350-400.

Henry Archer Nordso
I had no idea of this brand at all, but stumbled upon their watches and thought they looked quite nice as well. Interesting color palette and I do appreciate it has a Miyota 9039 as well. A Danish watch brand also seems interesting to me, I enjoy collecting watches from all over so a nice opportunity as well and I love a clean no-date dial. I don't know a lot about the brand but it seems quite positive. Most expensive one in the lineup I have though at $500.

Of all the photos you posted, I like the purple colors of 1. Erebus, and 2. Orient because the purple is more subdued and they do not scream purple like the other dials do. The Christopher Ward is a close no. 3, not so much because it's purple is not as nice as the others, but because I don't like the shape of its case as much as the others (I don't like watches where you need to buy proprietary straps or bracelets for the watch). I do however, like its matching purple colored date wheel.

The Farer Discovery. Something else to consider?

I was originally, but realize they're sold out now so would mean waiting for them to come back in stock or tracking down one second hand. I'm not very good at saying the color but it's also a little darker shade where I really like the brighter colors like in the ones I originally posted.

I did come across this very light shade Steeldive as well - no points for originality, of course. Much lighter shade/tone than I'm looking for, but I love that there are more color options showing up out there!

Design-wise, that phoibos has maybe too much going on visually, but that purple with the hyper sunburst looks like it would be the most smack-you-in-the-face purpley goodness for your money.

The Erebus I think has the most handsome overall design (perhaps benefiting from being a bit of a grand Seiko Omega AT mashup), but unfortunately the beautiful people color is often obscured significantly by glare from the transparent top surface of the dial. You can see in the photos and video, especially when the edge of the dial appears as a grey color where it meets the black rehaut, instead of appearing as the black or deep purple that it actually is. I have some sunburst dials that are like this, and it's frustrating to have the beautiful color get muted by the dial's glare.

The Henry Archer, I dunno... the purple color is nice and the circular brushing is unique so that's kind of cool. But the multicolor indices are distracting to me, and the fitment of the end links with the lugs looks bad.

I voted for the Erebus Ascent Fume.

Maybe I will look into some of these too, since purple is actually my favorite color but I only have one watch with a purple dial.

My vote: Erebus for those wanting a date and/or a dressy watch. Henry Archer for those not wanting a date and/or a sporty watch. The Phoibos for those wanting to look at a Octopus. The Erebus with the texture looks sweet as an all-arounder. The Archer as a dive watch looks equally sweet but more as a tool watch.
