I've been eyeing the Torsk diver for a bit now, like the 22mm lug width on this size diver. I'm concerned about the thickness and how it wears though. Any owners out there who can comment on the case thickness or have profile pics? Thanks.

When I receive it I can compare it for you to my Omega PO 43.5 and my Seiko SLA023……both of which are in the 15-16mm tall range where as the Tsao is 13.6.

Love hearing stories like this. Too often people who don't buy microbrands will spout off why they haven't and will not buy one, for reasons which are real-world sketch, at best.

More often, it's like this - much of the time, you are in direct contact with the owner, usually a fellow watch-nerd, and especially if something legit goes wrong, they will do their utmost to make things right. Yes, there are exceptions, but this has been my experience with a number of microbrands and their owners.

On my 6.75" wrist it wears like a diver that size would, if that makes sense?

Not heavy, but not light. However it is well balanced and the bracelet is on the thicker side and does not taper, which keeps the watch flush on the wrist, no real movement, but you know it is there. The lugs are not that long and curve slightly, so I would say it wears close to it's specs, IMHO.

I prefer this type of watch with a bit of heft to it, but everyone's mileage will vary. Bracelet has screw pins so sizing is pretty straight forward. All brushed, no polish, which is another reason it appealed to me.

The longer handset and the red tipped seconds hand make it very easy to read at a glance, and the sunburst dial effect really pops in full sun. Applied indices and LOTS of lume all around. And a very unique looking crown guard. Crown winds very smoothly and is easy to lock down, at least mine is.

The clasp is milled, solid, and very adjustable with an on-the-fly feature, but also on the thicker side, which is fine with me because it is a dive watch. Not super thick, but does have some size to it as well.

Overall, I really like it. Well made, great lume, very solid accuracy to date, excellent customer service from Alan if needed, and not something you will see on everyone's wrist.

Hope that helps. Sorry for the crappy pictures but I only had a few minutes to shoot this.

Good luck.

Just received it today. 7.5” wrist. I cut the rubber band it comes with to fit nicely and it’s comfortable. Very nice overall in person. Bezel is pretty stiff but will likely loosen up…..or not as I really don’t care or play with them much. Lines up perfect though. Has a really nice dew drop raised bezel like a Blancpain FF.

Thanks for detailed reply. I won't be wearing it on the bracelet, have some favorite rubber straps with ratchet clasp adjustment (Breitling) to use. I have 7 " wrist so was primarily concerned about thickness on wrist.

Nice pics, doesn't look too bad for thickness on your wrist profile shot. Thanks. May give the black dial a try.

I think you‘ll like it. One thing I just noticed…..the lume is very poor if thats a priority for you. I also just removed the rubber and tried it on a black nylon thewatchsteward strap and it’s awesome.

Saw a green Torsk diver with the bronze case the other day. Might be the green dial watch I've been looking for. Word is, there's an Old Bay automatic on the way. With real Old Bay. Truth!
You should use their Chat function on their website to setup a Facetime to see the green Torsk. Very likely Alan will respond and Facetime with you while answering any questions you have. BTW, the white bronze Torsk looks awesome too. :)

Sorry, but to be more clear, I was in his travel trailer at a holiday market and saw all of them; the green one on my wrist. Second year in a row actually, as he was there last year as well. I really do hope this year my wife gets the hint...
