I actually think it's an interesting design. But, I never buy watches without a minute track anymore. And as another member implied, this aesthetic would look better without a seconds hand.

Obviously, the pricing is difficult to defend.

I get that Timex is trying to step up its game, and I generally like that design aesthetics, but in close up pictures, the watch just doesn't nail it for me, and certainly not at that price.

I'd describe the look - for lack of more flowery words - as minimalist with a stylized chapter ring, and so many other brands have done it better - see below. I realize quite a few of them cost more, but they also look like they're worth over $1900 (and the Dufrane and Smiths cost a lot less). Ming really nails this look.

I like it. And I like that Galli has been pushing Timex into a whole new era. It's not going to be a watch for everyone, as only 500 will be made. I'm also intrigued with the no tool link design on the bracelet. I don't think I have ever seen something like that. And it wasn't that long ago that many of us would have frowned or scoffed at a $300 Timex. But that's what their automatics are going for today.

Got it, I didn't know he was from Philly. I don't need to un-wad anything, I just didn't get what you were trying to say. Just seemed completely irrelevant to the thread.
Well OK. But they seem kinda waddy, even now.
