My first Hamilton…what was yours?

I've purchased and sold a KFM, twice - just didn't get along with it - and that ended my general interest in Hamilton. Every now and then I might consider a different model, but there's usually something which takes it our of consideration. They discontinued the Jazzmaster Viewmatic in 38mm; by the time I tried on a KFA, I had plenty field-style watches; Thin-Line would make a great dress watch if they didn't muck it up with a date window, or added a second hand.

If the right watch came along, I'd be all over it, but I'm not out there looking specifically at Hamiltons.

Many years ago, I and several others here at WUS had a chance to start the official Hamilton forum on another watch forum which shall go nameless. I actually did not have a Hammy at that point but I picked up a quartz Hammy KHAKI field watch from BJ's of all places. I had it for several years until another member begged me to sell it to him. I thought that the watch was out of production until recently when that very same model became available on Ashford.com for about the same price as I originally paid for it many years ago.
