Bit confused now, but I think the cross-hairs on the blue dial should be silver, to match the indices. I suppose I could argue for red, but that opens a can of ... meatballs.
that was, what i meant by my question about engraving the crosshairs .
but as they are printed
there is probably no chance to match the indices by a print color
- who knows.

aesthetically i would say the same

(no red crosshairs though)

On a different note, as a member as kindly pointed out, since the original red has been changed to a fade dial Thomas has agreed to offer the red dot seconds hand as an option.

So if you have ordered a complete watch with red dial and want the red dot please register here: https://www.watchuseek.com/f498/registration-red-dial-red-dot-only-886124-post6521612.html.

If, on the other hand, you have ordered an extra red dial only and wish to have the red dot then register here: https://www.watchuseek.com/f498/registration-extra-red-dial-only-860114.html.

As a reference, here is the red dial render:

Hmmm... I thought a blue watch with red dot and a red watch with white arrow sounds fine by me.
But now that the red will have a fade dial and there is a red dot option for it I'm getting confused... ;)

What do you guys think will suit the dial more? Red dot or white arrow?

ALL ST5 project watches come with a display back to show off their inner beauty. One of the main reasons why we had to source striped Sea-Gull movements -:)
To save you all the trouble of locating the pictures in the hundreds of posts in this sub-forum and to give you an idea of how the flip-side will look:

No, these are not prototypes - come to think of it, though, one could argue that they are, as we're modeling the current project watch after the original ST5  / :-d And one more no: these are not donors for the project.

The view from the back is nice, any chance of seeing these beauties from the front?
