I've been thinking (normally a dangerous activity but bear with me) 3 watches are enough for a diver. Why? Well the 10 most historically significant dive watches thread shed some light on this - how many of the divers generally accepted to make the cut had exotic complications? Not many. My opinion has always been that dive watches be left simple, three handers with a timing bezel, easily readable, tough. Depth gauges, alarms, extreme WR's, not necessary.
Below is my ideal collection, it's constrained to my budget (I'm poor) but yours can be anything (3 casio's to 3 breguet marines
But these 3 divers would cover almost everything for me.
Your homework? Critique my selection. Am I wrong? I could well be.. Show your own 3. 3 not enough for a diver? Argue with me and be proved wrong
Squale Maxi dial 1545
Everybody knows what this is...
The elusive Doxa Aquaman, available usually overpriced, but can't help myself. Oh and it's quartz, I love quartz divers
Practical!
I only own the Squale so far.
