      Thank you for taking the time putting this information together. I'll avoid the standard NATO's as Snaggletooth alluded to it rendering the HR monitor ineffective, but i'll jump on AliExpress and view the offerings. I ordered a Nick Mankey Designs watch band, but there's a 10 week delivery estimate so checking out some inexpensive AliExpress options seems like a good idea in the meantime. Thanks again.

      Does anyone have a tip on a good perlon? I bought one of these, it smelled like straw, and was just as itchy, and the buckle feels like it was pressed from an old beer can. However, the look is right, I just wish it was a whole lot nicer...

      put one or two in hot water, helped a little bit but searching is still on so +1 request
      (allegedly eulit far the best but they are not cheap)

      Agreed, those inexpensive AliEx perlons are dissatisfying and, to my standards, not worth using.

      I can recommend Wrist Candy Watch Club perlons, or at the very least, I can say that I have been happy with their grey/black melange perlon. It's not AliEx, and it of course costs more, but it's still very reasonably priced. I'm guessing their non-melange perlons are equally good, though I couldn't say from experience.
