The fake bezels are easily discerned by the fact that the "30" is printed upside down and the "5" in the "50" is also upside down. Your Meranom bezels are the real thing. If that bezel is a fake, it is a really good one, so good that Meranom even sold them.....
I have two of these from Meranom, they were intended for the SE line and were available here https://meranom.com/en/amphibian-classic/spare-parts/vostok-amphibia-black-bezel.html
I would agree that the hands look legit, the dial I am not familiar with but that means nothing, as I have not seen all they have. The case looks to be an 090 and the crown appears legit.
Can't say about the movement from memory.
All in all I say it looks pretty cool
I would love a red bezel insert so that would definitely be a better option. Thanks.I believe that this style of bezel fits on the 160 case: https://meranom.com/en/amphibian-classic/spare-parts/vostok-amphibia-black-bezel.html
Unfortunately it's out of stock on Meranom, but there's good news!
For the same price you can get this bezel with a Superluminova lume pip: https://www.ebay.com/sch/favinov/m....&_from=R40&_sacat=0&_nkw=bezel&rt=nc&_udlo=20
If you like this style, you may want to contact him to double check that it will fit.
The newer Vostok production is a bit different than the classic amfibia/komandirskie. A bezel for newer models won't fit a classic amfibia, it will get stuck on the thread for the screwdown crown. The classic amfibia bezel has a narrower lower section, so it stays clear of it.The look great, I'll definitely keep the watch but replace the bezel. Sorry for all the questions but are bezels standard size?
This looks good.
Have you tried pipe cleaner? It’s extremely aggressive and should be able to bleach anodized aluminum.
