Tudor 7016 SAN issue

The Tudor submariner issued to the Marine Nationale was also issued to the South African Navy in 1976. It is believed that these were purchased from/ or at the same time as the MN purchased theirs as South Africa purchased their submarine fleet from the French Military (MN) at the same time. The serial numbers are in line with MN issued watches and have full caseback inscriptions.
