The Casio F91W seems to be the default recommendation when someone wants a cheap and durable watch. It’s reputation has made it somewhat of a watch icon.
What do you think is the analog watch equivalent of the F91W?
I'm looking for a luxury watch that I can wear in a crowded place, or on a night where I may be drinking and will not be as careful with my watch as I normally would be.
So far, I've only found the Omega Globemaster which has a Tungsten bezel and provides some of that protection. I know there...
I'm asking for help here, my watch "thing" is affordable, durable and no need for changing batery.
Currently my colection is:
Mudman G9300, with red bezel and band, my Work watch
Edifice 539D-1a2, my quartz running by bateries, my weekend watch
Gulfman GW9110, with blue bezel...
I dont post much here but looking for any recommendations on durable watches with tritium gas tubes? I have a Ball Engineer Hydrocarbon Deepquest and believe that is there most durable model. I'm in the military, wear it every day, shoot a lot, hard on watches but like a nice looking watch and...
I won it new on ebay 2 years ago for $100. It's too big for me. It's 50mm in diameter, and 25mm high.
It's a tank.
Stainless Steel Case Covered in Rubber
Swiss Quartz (super accurate since I bought it)
Date Window at 4 o'clock
60-Click Unidirectional Bezel (very firm movement)
Hey everyone. I really love my Vostok watches. They are built tough like a Soviet tank, and are affordable enough for anyone to collect. Does anyone out there have any Vostok watch 'miracle' survival or durability stories they can share with us, where the watch still works even after being put...
For Sale is a used G-shock 6900MS, all black. This watch is worn and used, but still in good condition. Has a little stain below the bezel from what I believe is bug spray, and will wash off most likely with some alcohol. Tried to get it in the photos, but not sure I did. Asking $70 obo shipped...
Hey guys, I'm 17 and going to be starting a new job in construction in a couple of weeks. I really don't want to spend over 50$ for a watch thats going to get really beat up. That being said im interested in the gshock 9052 (42$ on amazon) and the casio tough solar ws220 (27$ on amazon). I know...
I have seen a lot of torture tests for a lot of G-SHOCKs but I want to know how durable my G-SHOCK GA-100-1A4DR is. Anybody here who has done any durability tests, or has any wild watch-thrashing stories? Anyone who's got a scratch on the glass? The more pictures the better :-d
I'm on the hunt for a new watch strap for my Seiko SARB065 Cocktail Time, which is in the mail.
This will be my first dress watch, worn primarily for work, so I want to do it justice without just being another boring old black leather strap. I posted asking a question about gator/croc straps...
Being a man in the mountains and the city, I really want to know what what can do it all. I box, hike, run, climb, swim, backpack, and want to look a little classy in the city.
The criteria I look for are as follows

I have had a good search through past topics so have some ideas, but really need pointing in the right direction.
I need a watch that has the following attributes - with a "want score" next to each one.
1. Light weight 8 Points - I don't really want to know I am wearing it.
Can someone tell me which of these 4 is the best ?

I've been looking at the Riseman for quite a while now and I am very inclined to buy it. But I haven't seen a Riseman after years of wear and use, only pictures of new, fresh-out-of-the-box models. So I was wondering if anyone on the forum has had a Riseman for say, at least 2-3 years? I want to...
So my wife decided to get me a watch for my birthday, and I'm currently now wearing my yellow Prometheus Jellyfish and loving it. Once she saw the tritium lume she decided she wants something that offers this feature. So I've been searching the internet a bit and I haven't been able to find...

In an effort to fulfill my "one for every occasion" neurosis, I've been thinking of augmenting the collection with a piece for travel that isn't as precious as my beloved Bernhardt Globemaster or dressy as my Cricket.
The specs I'm looking for are:
GMT function (no cities, just adjustable...
