It's been a few years now that I have reignite my interest in watches. I own quite a bit of Automatic watches now and I keep them all in a watch box. I switch up which watches I wear on a near daily basis and so some watches eventually stop.
Should I be winding these watches up every-day...
I recently bought a 1964 Seiko Sportsman Calendar.
My question is: How many times do you turn the crown when winding yours, and how long does it run for then? I turn mine about 8 times and then it runs for maybe 12 hours.
Would like some advice on this. I have an Tag Calibre 5 (2824-2) that has not been worn for about 5 - 6 years. I'm now thinking of winding it up, setting the time and sticking it in a watch winder.
