I think they are Eastern Arabic numbers.

I've never seen such a dial - is it original? And what's the movement inside?

Serz,
you continue to surprize us with your findings!
I am quite sure there is a number of soviet watches that have been done specialy for several 'friendly' countries in Middle East and Africa and I have seen only very few of them here in the FORUM.

This is authentic Pobeda watch. I've also seen one with blue dial.

The writing on the watch is in Arabic. The digits are in Arabic and so is the written quote of a paragraph from the Koran inside the crescent, saying something like 'The merciful God is the only one'.

Interesting - the case is identical (in shape, not colour) to two Raketas which I have. Does this mean (a) my Raketas are franken? (b) this Pobeda is Franken? (c) this Arabic watch is one of the Petrodvoretz Pobedas or (d) two factories shared the same cases for some time?

I love the watch, by the way!

Yes, but Pobeda was made at several factories - you mean several factories also made this shape of case?
