Re: СЛАВА созвездие opinions?
Oh dear,
you must separate the name from the movement. I do not own this particular model (just a different, tongji-based, poor-quality "Slava") but as a result of my hours browsing pages offerring cheap Chinese mechanical watch I can tell you:
1) this is a fairly common movement in the 15-20 USD range which you can get under various names on the market (21 USD would be already excessive, incl. posting). It has an open heart at 9 hrs, a day/night (i.e. 24 hrs) dial above at 12, a 24 hrs dial at 3 hrs and a 60 secs at 6 hrs. The day/night indicator and the 24 hrs dial are, practically, the same. I saw watches with the same movement under the most various mushroom names (Slava, Goer, Wilon, even Fuyate, perhaps also Biaoqi etc). Here is the same movement under the name wilon (which I personally would prefer to the quasi-fake Slava, since Wilon has decent hommage-watches for sure) and another similar under fuyate:
Wilon Automatic Mechanical Wrist Watch - Silver + Black - Free Shipping - DealExtreme
Aliexpress.com : Buy Tourbillon Stainless Case 5 hands 2 Sub dials Hollow White Dial mens automatic watch Genuine Leather Band Mechanical wristwatch from Reliable watch suppliers on UltimatePenny Boutique Watch Store
It is a fairly popular movement, which can get more or less nice dials and brand names.
2) Slava ... you must forget whatever you once imagined about the watches of the Soviet Union or Russia. Calling the wathc CJIABA is a trick for marketing (it could be called e.g. Tao or whatever else). There are two dozens or so similar "companies" of mushrooms; and one cannot judge a particular mushroom without experience or a lot of reading (but perhaps neither even after that). For example, had i fell into love with this particular model, i would go for that one which has the inscription Eyki or IK colouring (obviously there is no Parnis or Bagelsport for it); then the one that has Wilon, Fuyate, or Biaoqi ... and perhaps, at the last resort only, I would take Goer, "Slava" or Sewor.
