Anyone have any suggestions for restoring the lug-fitted silicone straps to newer condition? Speaking specifically about how they start to develop an often uneven shine over the years.

Done this as well. Works pretty good, but I had to treat mine twice to get a decent result.

Is this from rubbing on sleeves etc. or is it due to water residue? If the former, you could sand it down just a bit to get an even surface once more; if the latter, there is nothing you can do that'd last for a longer time (speaking from experience with my Breitling Ocean Racer strap).
Wow - thanks for all the feedback. Didn’t expect there would actually be some options. To be clear, I’m not looking to deep clean it (though that’d be a perk), but to restore its more matte factory look. @Davekaye90 , have you done this? No shrinking or anything?
