For more information about the movement, you should try to measure it exactly (the diameter).
And post better, complete pics of the movement.
It looks like a high grade original Zenith pocket watch movement from around 1927.

That's because your's is a lepine movement (small seconds hand opposite crown) whereas the one in the link is a savonette or "hunter" movement (small seconds hand at right angles to the crown). Otherwise, they should be very similar. Yours would therefore be a Cal. 16''' N.V.S.I.

Thk for the info. But I would like to know more about this pocket watch.

1. Which year is this pocket watch produced
2. Does this piece rare as zenith using lepine movt cal. 16" N.V.S.I.
3. What is the market price of this pocket watch
4. Based on the picture, whether this pocket watch is original

Cheers,
Aiken

1. 1927, as previously quoted, is an accurate estimate, give or take a year.

2. No, it is not particularly rare. The movement was produced in 173800 pieces together with the related 15''' calibre between 1908 and 1931.

3. We don't give any valuations here but I suspect that it won't be as valuable as you would expect and/or hope. Have a look around eBay and similar sites what these things go for.

4. As far as I can tell from the pictures, the watch is entirely original.

Dear Ken,

Thank you for your below enquiry.

You are indeed the fortunate owner of a Zenith pocket watch. It was produced here in our manufacture on 12.02.1927 and is fitted with a calibre 16 NV.

Should you want to have it restored, you can find our list of repair centers on our website: ZENITH - Site Officiel
