I saw this in a pawnshop and couldn’t pass it up. Grab some scrap gold I purchased a Yard Sale for about $50 And traded for it. Interestingly they listed it as a 1956 but based on the 224XXX serial number it is a 1942. It runs great and seems to be all original. I have to say I am really falling for World War II era watches.

great find! i like the case... what size is it? reminds me of the czech majetek watches but looks smaller.
It’s only 30mm x 36mm. I have no problem wearing smaller vintage watches though. I wear it for the history. I wish more people would wear them.

That's so cool that it says army on the dial! I would cherish and keep that forever. I agree with you about historical small watches, it's a shame thst so many great small watches get overlooked.
