Hello,

I recently got my hands on an (probably) 1970's Ebel Automatic. After many hours searching on the internet I could not find a single image of a similar watch, so time to turn to the WUS community for some extra information.

Who can help me with information regarding;
- Model;
- Year;
- Movement;
- Etc.;

Thank you in advance!

Probably all faked and frankened. Ebel never made one like these. Send it to me so I can scrap it for you. b-)

No, seriously: this watch just brightened up a rainy day. This is one absolutely outstanding dial, in an outstanding beautiful watch. Nothing for every day, but good to be worn often. I like it! :p

The movement seems to be an ETA 2789, probably finished and improved by Ebel.

I wish you all the fun I had watching it, when you wear it.

Regards
Tomcat

@ Tomcat; you almost had me there with the Franken ;-) But, thanks for the compliments it's indeed an amazing watch to look at and above all to have around the wrist.

@ Hartmut Richter; it is indeed the ETA 2832 movement inside, thank you for guiding me into the right direction.
