Up for sale is a newly acquired Wempe Iron Walker GMT in excellent condition full kit with all bracelet links, papers, boxes, and cards. It's under warranty and was originally purchased at the NYC store in 2022. The watch is extremely well-built, and the fit and finish are impeccable. The case back engraving is perfectly aligned, the crowns are perfectly aligned, and the chamfered edges from the case continuing to the bracelet are perfectly executed. The clasp is thin and has beveling so no sharp edges dig into your wrist, it’s perfect. The watch is running perfectly within its certified chronometer specs at -1/3 a day, again perfect. The crowns screw down perfectly with no cross threading and the inner rotating 24-click bezel is perfect, it’s all perfect!
The stainless steel case diameter is 42 mm, Height is 11.7mm, Sapphire Crystal is flawless, and Water resistance is 10bar. Movement is a modified and regulated Sellita SW330-2. Also included is a two-watch Wempe travel case.
So why am I not keeping it? I’m trying to get down to two or three watches in the collection. I picked this up from Topper thinking it would scratch an itch but it’s not, I wore it out of the store, got home, and it went back in the box that day after wearing it for a few hours, sad I know, don’t judge.
I’m asking what I paid for it, $2600 $1800 NET via Zelle or Venmo/ PayPal. Shipped fast and free in the states, international is at full cost.
