20 mm jubilee strap? Best option?

I'm a typical consumer of affordable watches... Tissot/Seiko and Casio are my usual targets.
I inherited a Rolex Datejust (from 1983) with a jubilee bracelet (20mm) from my father. My wrist is wider than my father's, so I don't wear the original bracelet.
I would like to use it again, but the price of a single link is, shall we say, terrifying.
Any colleagues have any tips? A generic link or a generic bracelet? What's the best option?
Thanks in advance.

I don't know your personal finances, but i was able to buy a two tone gold link for a sub from a dealer for less than $250. I thought it was worth it.

Have a look at Uncle Seiko. Not sure if his solid EL variants would work on your DJ. Perhaps the hollow ELs might work as you can adjust and modify it easily to fit the DJ watch head. Do some tube homework and reach out to Larry. Share some pics to him as well of the DJ highlighting its case dimensions. He might help you and give some advise and directions. Good luck.
